We first began performing Minor Surgeries in 2014, which became very popular in the community. This inspired the expansion of our NHS commissioned company, Beacon Medical Services Group to include a vast variety of services. In 2018 our patients began requesting our services privately as many of their conditions were not causing them problems, but they wished to have them removed for cosmetic reasons, this excluded them from accessing our services via the NHS.
We perform to the highest standards and in addition to internal quality measures, we also compile reports of our quality standards and monitoring for the CQC and this is undertaken on a regular basis. Our aim is to provide a high-quality service at competitive prices, so that all patients can have the opportunity to access our Minor Surgery Service.
We like to work in partnership with our patients, carers and families in creating a positive experience when you attend our clinics. We focus on helping you understand your ailment and involving you in the decisions that need to be made regarding your treatment and care. We will provide an honest open approach, with full disclosure of benefits and risks. As with all our clinics, you are in complete control, and you can change your mind about the procedure at any time.

At Beacon Medical Services Group, our Minor Surgery service began in 2014 and quickly became popular across Manchester. What started as a local NHS-commissioned service has grown into a trusted and in-demand private clinic, known for its quality, comfort, and compassionate care. That success led to expanding into a broad range of services for both NHS and private patients.
In 2018, patients began requesting private care for non-urgent skin conditions, such as cosmetic removal of moles or cysts. We responded by offering accessible, high‑quality Minor Surgery in a community setting.
