Step 2
booking your appointment
So, you have decided on using Beacon, brilliant! In order to book, you will need a referral from a GP to the specific service which you require; this is to ensure that the consultant we provide is a specialist in your desired field. This can be done through your NHS GP, or you can use a private GP such as one provided by Beacon (see GP services page for pricing).
An alternative route we now offer is internal triaging. If you know which service you require, based on doctor recommendations, symptoms experienced, or simply for ease of mind, let one of our team members know, and we will provide a triage questionnaire. This will be assessed by one of our in-house GPs, so please be as specific as possible.
Following the receipt of your referral or the internal triaging process, you will be asked when an appointment is convenient for you. Once an appointment is provided, a £100 booking fee will be taken via email or phone to confirm this booking. (Please note: this booking fee is taken from your final bill and is non-refundable within 24 hours of your planned appointment). If you require any guidance, please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.
Step 3
Your Appointment
After your booking is confirmed, we’ll be in touch—if needed—with further details about your appointment. This may include what to expect on the day, any necessary preparations, and a breakdown of pricing for your chosen service.
If you have any special requests or specific requirements, please let us know in advance. Our team will do everything possible to accommodate you. We’re committed to providing not only the highest quality care, but care that’s tailored to your individual needs

Relax
After your appointment, you can rest assured that everything else is being handled swiftly and efficiently by our team at Beacon. Test results and consultation reports will be delivered to you within 48 hours, and we’ll inform you if any follow-up is recommended.
If you wish, we can also share your results with your NHS GP for continuity of care.

I had my endoscopy today by Dr Beata Kompo and there was nurse i think called Lisa, omg they were so helpful so kind and because i was so scared of this scan as this was the second attempt, the first one i couldn't do it, but this time the whole team gave me some time after giving me the throat numb spray, i just thought i cant i just cant do it ever, but Lisa nurse and Dr kompo said just focus on breathing thats it wont take too long, then i just lay down and started breathing lisa was kept saying just think that you are somewhere near the beach oh god i started imagining i am in a heaven 😂 and i didn't even realise what's going around me or even in my body 🙂↔️, They are magical team, please give them my love lots of love and respect for their work they do.

The nurse called Lisa (I think) had all the qualities of a fantastic nurse and made me feel at ease. I had an MRI scan appointment which when i was called i told i could only make at 10 am. They told me to come 20 minutes before.They did not tell me it was appointment at 9:40.Thought it was a waiting time. I reached here at 9:45 and they did not do my MRI SCAN.
The staff who talked to me was very rude and was closing the door even before my questions were not complete.Very rude behaviour from the staff.I was having severe back pain and was referred to physio after this scan.And i missed it for this.Very bad service.
