Step 2

booking your appointment

So, you have decided on using Beacon, brilliant! In order to book, you will need a referral from a GP to the specific service which you require; this is to ensure that the consultant we provide is a specialist in your desired field. This can be done through your NHS GP, or you can use a private GP such as one provided by Beacon (see GP services page for pricing).
An alternative route we now offer is internal triaging. If you know which service you require, based on doctor recommendations, symptoms experienced, or simply for ease of mind, let one of our team members know, and we will provide a triage questionnaire. This will be assessed by one of our in-house GPs, so please be as specific as possible.
Following the receipt of your referral or the internal triaging process, you will be asked when an appointment is convenient for you. Once an appointment is provided, a £100 booking fee will be taken via email or phone to confirm this booking. (Please note: this booking fee is taken from your final bill and is non-refundable within 24 hours of your planned appointment). If you require any guidance, please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.

Step 3

Your Appointment

After your booking is confirmed, we’ll be in touch—if needed—with further details about your appointment. This may include what to expect on the day, any necessary preparations, and a breakdown of pricing for your chosen service.

Relax

After your appointment, you can rest assured that everything else is being handled swiftly and efficiently by our team at Beacon. Test results and consultation reports will be delivered to you within 48 hours, and we’ll inform you if any follow-up is recommended.
If you wish, we can also share your results with your NHS GP for continuity of care.
